My favorite dessert - Apple Pie.

I don't care for many desserts, but I will never pass up some apple pie! Here's a little healthier version we love to bake at home.

Apple Pie Recipe:

3 McIntosh apples

3 Granny smith apples

Apples sliced ½ inch thick

3 tablespoons of Oat flour

½ cup honey

½ cup light brown sugar

1 lemon juice (you can use 1/2. We prefer a little extra lemon)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla

½ teaspoon salt

2 tablespoon coconut oil

1 Pre-made pie crust (I use a vegan pie crust)

In a large pan add the coconut oil and saute the apples for about 2 minutes. Add the oat flour, honey, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla extract. Mix and saute for another 2 minutes. Add the mixture to a pre-made pie crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Serve warm alone or with some coconut milk ice cream. Enjoy!
